Dr. Tao Wang received his Ph.D. degree at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and now served as an associate professor at East China University of Science and Technology. He is one of the first international group of scholars to conduct research on the design and application of deep learning algorithms in artificial olfactory systems. Dr. Tao Wang has published more than 50 high-level academic papers in the top journals of sensors, such as Nature Communications, Nano-Micro Letters, ACS Sensors, Sensors and Actuators B, and IEEE Sensors Journal. His H-index is 22 and the citation number of his papers exceeds 1900. Dr. Tao Wang is now served as guest editor of two SCI journals and is selected for the Shanghai super postdoctoral incentive program in 2022 and the Forbes China 30U30 program in 2018. His research now focuses on smart sensors and artificial olfactory systems, including four main aspects: high-performance sensing units, sensor array optimization, pattern recognition algorithms, and hardware system integration.
